This Drive-Through Wrap recipe is SO delicious and fun!! I love making this recipe with savoy cabbage leaves instead of using lettuce or kale leaves. They add some delicious crunch. You can also “jazz up” this recipe by adding some gherkins, pickles or beetroot slices. The options are endless. So bring out your inner-chef and have some fun with this recipe!!

Drive-Through Wrap

Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 1 or 2 large lettuce or curly kale leaves
  • 1 cooked burger or bratwurst
  • 1 to 2 tomato slices
  • A few avocado slices
  • ¼ cup raw shredded beets
  • A few onion slices fried in ghee or coconut oil
  • Mustard or egg-free mayonnaise to taste

Instructions:

  1. Lay out the lettuce or kale leaves on a plate.
  2. Top with 1 cooked burger or bratwurst and the toppings of your choice, such as 1 or 2 tomato slices, a few avocado slices, ¼ cup raw shredded beets, or onion slices fried in coconut oil or ghee.
  3. Add mustard or egg-free mayonnaise to taste, if desired.
  4. Enjoy!!

Note: I have learned not to use ketchup on my burgers. Even the natural varieties have too much sugar. Instead, egg-free mayonnaise and a tomato slice or two or some good spicy mustard make excellent condiments for this wrap.
