This almond butter apple nachos recipe is a nice way to “jazz up” a boring insignificant apple. It’s a nice comfort food recipe, especially on a cold miserable UK winters day. And you won’t increase your waistline with this treat, well, unless you eat the whole jar of almond butter 🙂

Almond Butter Apple Nachos

Ingredients:

  • 1 large apple (or 2 small apples)
  • 1-2 tablespoons smooth almond butter, melted
  • 1 handful o f mixed nuts, crushed
  • chia seeds, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cut the apple(s) in thin slices and arrange on a plate.
  2. Top with melted almond butter.
  3. Top with a sprinkle of chia seeds and the nuts.
  4. Enjoy!

Note: Try and experiment with different types of nut butters and apples to keep things interesting!!
